COSHOCTON- Lillian (Janice) Akins,93, passed peacefully on April 13, 2021.

Janice was the true definition of a Lady. She worked for a short time at Coshocton Nat'l Bank. She then dedicated her life to being a very special wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was an amazing artist, although she was very humble about her incredible talents. Her paintings were locally displayed in art museums and art shows but most lovingly displayed in her family's homes. Janice was a loving, spiritual soul who will be missed by many.
She was a beautiful sister to Sandra(Dean) Taylor Gamertsfelder, who survives. Her very special brothers, Don, Gene and Tom Taylor preceded her in death. She shared her love & life with nieces and nephews; Kim Spurgeon(deceased), Kirk Spurgeon and Ann Spurgeon Helms, Stevie Taylor(deceased), Greg Taylor, Tim Taylor, Rick Taylor, Tom Taylor, Eve Taylor, Mark Taylor and Beth Taylor, Ben Lawson, Garney Lawson, Laraine Lawson and Lexi Lawson(deceased). Brother-in-law, Bob Akins survives. And her much loved cat, Jase, is still enjoying his 9 lives.
