Danville – Karen Sue Strausbaugh, 69, passed away at home with her family on Sunday November 8, 2020.
She was born in Mount Vernon on May 29, 1951. She was the daughter of William J. and Sharon (Smith) Breckler. On February 28, 1970, she married Carl Clement Strausbaugh. Together they had two children, Angie Frazee and Buck (Tanya) Strausbaugh, and three grandchildren Carter and Emma Frazee, and Cade Strausbaugh. She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda Michaelis, Teresa (Jim) McCormick, and Kim (Doug) Paullin, and her brothers, Greg (Erlene) Breckler, and David (Susanne) Breckler. She loved all of her family very much.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dennis Breckler, and her son-in-law, Brett Frazee.
Calling hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A prayer service will follow. COVID-19 precautions will be observed. Interment will take place at St. Luke Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12. Father Homer Blubaugh will officiate.
