WEST CARLISLE- Linda Linnetta Bradford, 63, of CR 3, died Wednesday April 11, 2012 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room in Zanesville.
She was born June 27, 1948 in Pike Twp., Coshocton Co. to Robert E. and Grace M. (Miller) Dickerson, Sr. She was a 1966 graduate of River View High School, a former employee of Edmont's and Tayco in Coshocton, and she baby-sat many children. She volunteered in the clothing room of the Salvation Army, was an advisor for the Bowman Station 4-H Club for many years, and assisted with the 4-H Poultry Skill-A-Thon. She was a member of the West Carlisle Church, and was associated with the Silver Bar Saddle Club. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and also the many kids she baby-sat who all called her "grandma".
She is survived by her husband of 45 years this Saturday, James R. Bradford of West Carlisle, who she married on April 14, 1967. Also surviving are three daughters; Jayme (Billy) Mounts of Conesville, Johnie (Michael Wesney, Jr.) Bradford of Warsaw, and Jessie Bradford of the home, a sister, Roberta "Bobbi" (Max) Hughes of Warsaw, a brother, Lowell J. (Darlene) Dickerson of Coshocton, a very special family member, Ronnie L. (Elizabeth) Shearn of Warsaw, twelve grandchildren; Gage, Dakota, & Bryce Wesney, Bella & Zoey Mounts, Nicholas "Scotty" & Gracie Sipe, Josef, Joleigh, & Josh Hairston, and Austin & Logan "Deedle" Wolford, special friends; Rich Gilmore of Fresno, Sis (Danny) Sipe of Wet Carlisle, and Debbie Miller of Coshocton, a special niece & nephew; Jeanne & Joe Hairston of Newport News, VA, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and a brother, Robert Dickerson, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the West Carlisle Church with Pastor Ronnie Shearn officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral.
