Danville – Maxine Carol (Reed) Brown, 79, passed away at home on Friday April 2, 2021.
She was born in Coshocton on January 29, 1942 to Ernest S. and Ruth R. (Zollars) Reed. Maxine was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who always put everyone else ahead of herself. She loved to spend time with family and friends and attended services at Tiverton Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Shelly (Bob) Vertrees, Ron (Judy) Cline, Ronald (Lisa ) Stull, Jr., Deb Thomas, her sister, Marlene (Larry) Moore, 15 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Ronald Stull and Bill Brown, her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Darlene Cline, son, Ricky Stull, and her brother and her sister-in-law, Edward and Louise Reed.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday April 6 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Clifford Beck will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Normal seating capacity will be reduced and COVID protocols will be observed. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 until service time.
