NEWARK- Melissa Dawn (Lepley) Jaimes, 52, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
Melissa was born July 3, 1969 in Newark to Melvin and Vicki (Thompson) Lepley. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her grandkids.
She in survived by her father, Melvin Lepley of Mt. Vernon; a son, A.J. Jaimes of Mt. Vernon; a daughter Jessica (David Flowers) Sowders of Mt. Vernon; her grandchildren, Vanessa Darnell, Aaron Lepley, Daniel Lepley, Corey Tyra, and Breezee Flowers; siblings, Megan (Clint) Tyra of Tyler, TX, Casey (Pam) Angell of Tyler, TX, Brenda (Mike) Free of Illinois, Mark Lepley of Newark, Shelly (Shawn) Mason of Virginia, Renae (Andrew) Berman of Killbuck, and Samantha Lepley of Bladensburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & great-nephews; her step-mother, Kate Lepley of Killbuck; and her former companion, John Poland of Mt. Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Angell; and her step-father, Will Angell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
