WALHONDING- Nancy Norma (Hughes) Howard, 72, was often known to use the phrase “once in a blue moon”, and on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023 she passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Licking Memorial Hospital under a super blue moon.
She was born Nov. 2, 1950 in Zanesville to the late Bernard and Mollie (Landis) Hughes. She worked at various places but spent the better part of 30 years at the Mt. Vernon Developmental Center as a beautician.
