Tiverton Center - Renee Mezie, 72, passed away on May 4th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her son’s residence after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
Renee was born in Brownsville, PA to Steve and Frances Lesko, who preceded her in death.
She lived her life to the very fullest and if she wanted to do something, there was no stopping her. She recently retired and spent her last few years traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. Renee was a hard worker and spent her days making sure her family felt her love.
In the last month, Renee was surrounded by her family and showered with love. In the last week, we were able to honor all of her wishes and last requests. She made sure to take individual time with every member of her family, holding our hands and expressing to us how much we meant to her. We will cherish these moments forever. She was deeply loved and will be so very missed but never forgotten.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Bardoe of Tiverton, her sons,Jay Kurpyl of Mt. Vernon, Doug (Liz) Mezie of Mount Vernon, Dainon (Amy) Mezie of Howard, and Daryl Mezie of Danville, a brother, Steve (Esther) Lesko of Montgomery, AL, and 7 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Dylan, Madelyn, Aaron, Avery, Lyndsay, Jett and Maddox.
