Robert McNichols II Obituary
DRESDEN- Robert Eugene “Bob” McNichols II, 56, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
He was born Sept. 2, 1965 in Coshocton to the late Robert Eugene and Sharon Sue (Shaw) McNichols. He was a 1983 graduate of River View High School, and later completed Auto Mechanic School. He has been an employee of McWane Ductile (Clow) for the last 33 years.
Bob was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a dedicated and loyal employee with many skills. He had a well-earned reputation as a hard worker. Many nights he would come home only to work in his own garage.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kelly L. (Lahna) McNichols of Dresden, whom he married July 17, 2004; his children, Bobby (Ashley) McNichols of Warsaw, Scott McNichols of Coshocton, Andrew McNichols (Mackenzie Nelson) of Newark, and Cassandra (Patrick) Steele of Zanesville; step-children, Terri (Jarrod) Grove of Coshocton, Michael (Sarah) Poland of Canal Lewisville; grandchildren, Lane & Grant McNichols, AJ & Lincoln Henderson, Memphis Steele, Maverick & Amarah McNichols, Palmer & Banks Grove, and Gabe Poland; two sisters, Jenny (William) LaRue of Somerset, and Sheri (David) Ferrell of Dresden; two aunts, Pat (Larry) Fleming of Coshocton, and Rhea Hampton of Coshocton; an uncle, Larry Shaw of Coshocton; several cousins; and special friends from "The Shack" & Twisted Image Motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Ruth McNichols, and Emmett & Florence Shaw; and a nephew, Randy Wills.
