Roberta "Robyn" A. Hayes

    Danville - Roberta “Robyn” Aleen Hayes, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends.

    Robyn was born on February 2nd, 1954 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late Neil Douglas and Ramona June (Bigelow) Good. She was married for 36 years to Roy Gene Hayes of Danville, whom she wed on May 19th, 1986.

    Robyn had an infectious smile that touched the heart of all who met her. She was a fierce mother and grandmother who loved her daughters, grand and great-grandchildren with incomparable passion. She loved the outdoors and her green thumb and passion was very evident in the many beautiful flowerbeds and plants that surrounded her home. She was also a lifelong artist with needle and thread as well as icing and cake. Many have enjoyed a beautiful cake done by her or stay warm and cozy with a colorful quilt made by her loving hands.

    Robyn is survived by her husband Roy. Her daughters, Darcey (Terry) Wojtseck Byers of Leadville, Colorado and Deanna Wojtseck of Walhonding, Ohio. Grandchildren T.J., Samatha, Adrianna and Hunter Byers of Leadville, Colorado, Dalton (Leah Tucker) Hammons, Darien Sinnet and Morgan Hammons all of Danville, and great-granddaughters Remae Byers of Leadville, Colorado, and Orion and Jessa Hammons of Danville. Brothers, Donald Lee Asher of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Neil David Good of Danville, Ohio. Sisters, Ramona Irene Hicks, Kathy Eileen (Roger) Durbin of Danville, and Beverly Coleen (Steve) Haines of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and a special acknowledgement to her best bud of 52 years, Jane Butts.

    She was preceeded in death by both of her parents, her brother Mike Good, and nephew Adam Good.

    According to her wishes there will be no calling hours or services at this time. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
