Tamara Blaisdell

Mount Vernon - Tamara J. Blaisdell, 64, died Monday, March 14, 2022 at her residence in Mt. Vernon.

She was born December 24, 1957 in Mount Vernon to the late Kenneth and Marcella (Yearous) Blaisdell.  She was a graduate of Danville High School.

Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, cooking, working with her plants and in her garden, crafting, watching old movies, and reading her Bible.  She loved her family and displayed their pictures proudly throughout her house.

Tammy was a member of the Sunbury Christian Church and enjoyed watching the sermons every Sunday morning via zoom. Tammy loved the Lord and spent time in the word every day.  Her family is certain that she was welcomed into Heaven with open arms.

She is survived by her children Shawn (Jennifer) Dawson of Sunbury, Robin (Corey) Graham of Mount Vernon, Branden (Sarah) Dawson of Howard, and Dustin (Danielle) Dawson of Howard; 12 grandchildren, including Olivia, Ella, Isla, Scarlett, Elyse, Riley, Shawna, Breanna, Aubrey, Bryar, Landon, and Bexley; one sister, Terry Breckler; one sister-in-law, Lisa Blaisdell; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jim Blaisdell.

Per Tammy’s wishes there will be no viewing or services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her name to any organization of your choosing.
