Virginia K. Turner

                COSHOCTON- Virginia Kay “Jinny” (Jones) Tuner, 72, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. She is at peace now after a short battle with cancer.

                She was born Sept. 16, 1948 in Coshocton to the late Reese and Frances (Wright) Jones. She was a 1968 graduate of Coshocton High School. She worked many places in Coshocton, and her last 20 years she was a nanny for many different families around the country. She was married to Ed Turner for 11 years. He and several of her friends had recently helped her by taking her to her many chemotherapy treatments.

                Jinny loved her family and always enjoyed being with them. She loved playing “Scrabble” with her sister, Annie.  

                She is survived by three sons, Sean (Kristie) Turner of Collegeville, PA, Jason (Vickey) Turner of Lincoln University, PA, and Aaron (Diana) Nesselroad of Beverly; eight grandchildren, Brenden, Gavin, Devyn, Peighton, Meaghan, Zachary, Bailey, & Kinsey; a sister, Anna Mae Glazier of Warsaw; four nephews, three nieces, and lots of devoted friends.

                In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother; a brother-in-law, Bud Glazier; and her step-mother, Maxine Jones.

                A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton, with Pastor Ashley McMillin officiating.
