Danville – Warren A. Edstrom, 78, passed away at the Knox Community Hospital on October 3, 2021.
He was born in Cleveland on January 13, 1943. He was the son of the late Wilbert and Thelma (Pitson) Edstrom. He was a Veteran of the U.S Navy, serving from 1962-1966, and retired from United Telephone/Sprint. He was the co-owner of Floods Auto Repair, and a co-founder of the Knox County 9/12 Project group.
Warren is survived by his wife, Sherry (Patrick) Edstrom, children, Melissa Incorvia of Port Clinton, Nate Edstrom of Bowling Green, Shane Edstrom of Mansfield, and Jessica (Jason) Abel of Danville, grandchildren, Devon Roberts, Amy, Evie, and on the way, Warren James Abel, nephew, George Edstrom Jr. (Shelly) and their children Caleb, Grace, and Jonah, and nephew, Warren T. Edstrom.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chris, and a brother, George.
A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 9, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Mac Abbitt will officiate. A private burial will follow. A viewing will be held from noon until service time.
