Yavonne M. Olson

Danville – YaVonne M. (Nortum) Olson, 86, passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Mount Vernon.

She was born to Addison and Wilda (Moore) Nortum in Johnsonburg, PA on July 4, 1933. They preceded her in death along with her brothers, Marshall and Harold Nortum, and her grandson, Aaron Farmer.

Surviving are her daughters, Diane (Paul) Simmons of Danville, and Wilda (Larry) Farmer of Howard, her son, Steve (Carole) Olson of Danville, grandchildren, Chris (Shelly) Lepley, Alanda (Daryl) Smith, Michael (Hannah) Simmons, Amy (Dainon) Mezie, Keith (Jahni) Olson, and Stephanie (Darick) Olson, great grandchildren, Layne and Rees Lepley, Aaron, and Avery Mezie, Dylan and Madelyn Mezie, Lexi and Ethan Olson, and Lydia and Ella Schell, and her sister, Dorothy (Bennie) Gearhart.
